Why this course:
This course will focus on the New Zealand business environment. It leads directly to Level 3 Business Studies (8BUS) and prepares for tertiary study in business, marketing, and other commerce degrees.
Course information:
Students will gain knowledge, skills and experiences to:
- Conduct market research and evaluate the research (group activity)
- Plan, carry out, refine and review a business activity with community context (group activity)
- Understand internal operations of a New Zealand business
- Investigate motivational practice in a business environment (local case study)
This course leads to:
Level 3 Business (8BUS).
Prerequisites
Completion of the Level 1 Economics & Business Studies (6COM) course with a minimum of 10 credits OR entry at the discretion of the HoLA.
