Why this course:
This course provides a stepping stone for students who wish to take courses and/or pursue career pathways in the Tourism sector.
Course Information:
Topics include:
- Describing and promoting New Zealand and Australia as a tourist destination
- Analysing the economic impact of tourism
- Demonstrating knowledge of New Zealand as a tourist destination
- Demonstrating knowledge of Pacific Island countries as a visitor destination.
This Course leads to:
Please note this is a vocational pathways course that does not lead to a university entrance (UE)-approved course at Level 3.
Prerequisites
25 Achievement Standard Credits at Level 2 or at the discretion of the HOLA
