7AUT

Year 12 7AUT – Automotive (NCEA L2)

Course Option Description

Head of Learning Area (HOLA): Ms G. Small.

Due to resourcing constraints we will be unable to run Automotive as an option at WHS in 2025. We have been working on resolving this and unfortunately have had to make the decision to remove this option.

Students with a strong interest in the Automotive industry should contact Linda Richards, our Head of Careers to discuss the possibility of the trades program through Otago Polytechnic which offers Automotive (8ACA).

Prerequisites

Entry is granted at the discretion of the HoLA. Students with previous history of unsafe behaviour in the workshop and/or multiple referrals from these classes may be given conditional entry or in some cases denied entry to the course.
